In a pasture raised system livestock spend their life in a natural environment that enables the animal to express their natural behaviours and habits and eat a species appropriate diet. It is a high welfare system that mimics the natural habitats that each specific breed would thrive in. As a result, pastured animals are much happier and healthier.
